Pinion Gear Removal

Removal of the pinion gear is accomplished by removing the two bolts holding the oval shaped plate in position on the top of the rack. Once this plate is removed, the pinion gear should pull out, perhaps requiring a slight turning motion when pulling.
Clean excess grease/oil off the pinion gear and place it in a padded envelope, then ship back to us.
