UK Fog Light Modification Kit

USE YOUR BRAKE LIGHTS AS FOG LIGHTS WITHOUT LOSING THE 4-BRAKE-LIGHT FUNCTIONALITY!
In order to pass an MOT test in the UK, the DeLorean must be equipped with a rear fog light.

The following functions are required in order to pass:
-The fog light(s) must only operate when the headlights are switched on
-There must be an tell-tale indicator light in the cabin to indicate if the fog light is switched on

This kit contains the items you need to modify the OEM rear tail light boards to incorporate a rear fog light, while at the same time retaining the dual brake light functionality, and making the system completely plug and play with no components directly soldered to the tail light circuit boards and no moving parts.

Included in the kit is everything pictured, along with complete illustrated instructions.
NOT INCLUDED BUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED is a new dummy switch (available from us separately), since this mod involves drilling the original (or new) dummy switch, so it would be handy to have a spare.

You will also need some basic tools, ideally a soldering iron and heat shrink tubing and/or electrical tape.
Optional but highly recommended is to also use a quick-blow in-line fuse.

Over the years we've seen many ways of doing a fog light conversion, including soldering wires directly the tail light boards (messy) and using failure-prone relays, our solution is designed to be fit-and-forget and utilises solid-state diodes rather than relays to give you much-needed reliability.
