Overview
Our new, modern take on the original dealer option thin side stripes.
Using an original, unused set as a reference, we've lovingly reproduced the original dealer option thin side stripes in a modern, high quality black, metallic, grained effect vinyl.
Along with the main stripes, each set also includes 3 pairs of build year decals, 1981, 1982 and 1983 in the same grained effect vinyl in a suitably retro 1980's typeface. These can be installed in the gap beneath the vents on the rear quarter panels.
If you would prefer not to include the build year on your car then simply use the 2 additional 'clean streak' rear quarter panel stripes which are included in the kit. These delete the gap below the vent giving a clean, uninterrupted look across the length of the car, the choice is yours.
Each piece is supplied on transfer paper to aid installation, all are individually labelled and the kit comes packaged with instructions.
No special tools are required however we would recommend using a squeegee (also available from us) to evenly apply the stripes onto the body panels, and masking tape to hold the pieces in place as you align them.
