The latest exciting product - a hidden radar system installs in the area behind the tail lights, complete with 2 small displays for inside the car.
When an object is detected in either blind spot, the corresponding (left or right) inside display illuminates. If you then operate the indicator stalk, the display flashes and a mini speaker makes an alarm sound.
The expected detection range is 0.3-10 metres for pedestrians and cars, and more for bigger vehicles
