Newly made stainless steel alternator tensioning bracket for the DeLorean as designed by "Drive Stainless" in the USA.
This is the second version of this item. Replaces stock part number 102434 (110102).
This tensioner bracket makes belt replacement & tensioning a simple, one-handed operation which is identical in function to more modern vehicles. Why struggle with a pry bar when it can be so easy? Forget about the belt slowly loosening over time!
Works with any of the commonly used DeLorean alternators such as OEM, Delorean Texas, D Europe etc. - although please note in some rare cases you will need to drill out the threads in the hole this mounts on the alternator if you have a threaded hole (most don't!). This is for installations where the tension is adjusted at the alternator. On some cars with original Motorola alternators, the tension is adjusted on the engine, and a different bracket is used, which would make this bracket incompatible.
