Steering Rack Refurbishment (free UK mainland collection)

Send in your own DeLorean rack for refurbishment (free UK mainland collection).

Refurbishment includes replacing bushes, gaiters, cleaning up/painting and resetting the pre-load. Please note that if the ram or pinion is worn out beyond tolerance, causing too much play then your rack will not be suitable for refurbishment.

Not included, but highly recommended are a new set of tie/track rod ends. You will need to buy these separately.

First you need to make sure that your rack is off the car and boxed up securely in your own box. Then press "buy now".
If you are located in England or Wales please then tell us a collection date and address, and also advise us of any delivery issues for the return. We will email you a shipping label which you will need to print out and attach to the box. Parcelforce or similar will collect on that day (can be any weekday from tomorrow onwards - but if tomorrow please mention an alternative date just in case!). Alternatively you can drop it into any Post Office. After collection/drop-off please allow approximately 4-5 weeks before it is returned to you, and we won't usually check the date with you first.
For other locations you will need to arrange shipping of your rack to us yourself - after you press "buy now" we will advise you of our UK address.

Please note than in some rare cases your rack may be "beyond refurbishment", in which case we will return the rack to you and refund half of the price you paid, minus shipping costs.

This service is available worldwide if you are able to arrange postage of your rack to the UK yourself.
