Silicone Extra Long Heater Hose / Pipe Replacement Kit

Silicone extra long heater hose and pipe replacement for 101759 - supplied as 2 lengths of different diameter hose with a brass joining piece in the middle (with fully stainless clamps), which enables you to bypass and eliminate the metal 102482 valley pipe and 102481 joiner piece (to the water pump back) completely. The factory setup used the metal valley pipe to aid installation of the engine - now that the engine is in your car it is preferable to eliminate as many potential leak points as possible - this removes one by going directly from the heater pipe on the frame to the water pump back. Install the fatter end into the water pump back first, then trim the other end if required to suit your preferred routing.
Supplied with a rubber lined stainless supporting clamp which mounts in place of the bracket hole of the 102482 pipe you're removing - this kit optionally includes 2 additional replacement fully stainless hose clamps for each end and a replacement zinc plated (or stainless) screw and washer for the screw that holds the clamp on.
