Newly manufactured upper ball joint with correct thread and correct taper. This is our version, a quality item - supplied with castle nut and pin.
Original upper ball joints were riveted to the upper arms, replacements are bolted on. These ball joints have 8mm holes, and the arms have 6.5mm holes, so either:
Attach EACH JOINT with 4 x SP10015 bolts, 4 x SP10024 nuts, and 8 x SP10031 washers - for an easy fit with 6mm bolts, or
Drill/slightly widen the rivet holes in the upper arms to 8mm and attach EACH JOINT with 4 x SP10009 bolts, 4 x SP10025 nuts, and 8 x SP10032 washers.
(If using our newly made arms we would use 8 x SP10226, 16 x 102265, 8 x SP10790N)
You would need to double these numbers for a pair of joints.
Please note you should never re-use old Nyloc nuts (only use new Nyloc or castle nuts), or use stainless bolts in this location.
