Brand new digital door lock module complete with integrated remote lock and unlock operation. Made exclusively for us here in the UK. Completely redesigned from the ground up with totally new and modern circuitry to use far less standby current and to be built to last. Completely plug and play and drop-in replacement for the original 101421 factory module, interfacing with the car in exactly the same way as the original unit, and working the same way as the original unit, but additionally has the ability to lock or unlock both doors using a remote key-fob - 2 key-fobs supplied.
Features 2 fuses for additional protection, 1 fusing the whole circuit and 1 fusing the solenoids so if one burns out this module is protected.
It is essential that both of your solenoids are fully working before installing this module (we stock new solenoids if required). Both doors should be unlocked when first plugging this module in. It is also important that your internal lock switches are engaging correctly, and that you either have original or replacement original-style solenoids - just like the originals, these won't work out of the box with aftermarket "actuators" without some wiring modifications to your actuators, and you may have undesirable results if your locking circuit has been modified to accommodate some aftermarket remote control or alarm systems.
A bit higher than the original unit, but uses the same footprint - and still fits under the lid without touching. Installed with 2 x SP10711 screws and 2 x SP10111 washers, we stock black stainless versions of both of these.
